Promoting Positive Mental Health

Mental Health First Aid

At Dumfries High School we are committed to promoting positive mental health and supporting young people who find that they are struggling. Our team of qualified mental health first aiders, working alongside the Pupil Support Department, are here to offer signposting advice and support for any young person who feels that they require some help.

For further details on Dumfries High School's Mental Health Policy, please feel free to visit our Parent and Carer's booklet.

  • Click the “GET HELP” button on the school website’s home page.
  • Or click this link and fill out the form
  • If it is a lunch or breaktime, feel free to go to the room of any team member and they can help you or arrange a time for you to sit down for a session.
