On Thursday 27th September two teams from Dumfries High School entered the first ever Dumfries & Galloway boys’ netball festival held at Dumfries Academy. The event was run by Dumfries & Galloway Netball Association and is hopefully the first of many opportunities for boys to get involved with netball at secondary school level. Round robin format allowed each team to play every other team once and the winners chosen by number of wins. Unfortunately the high school’s senior team missed out on first place to a skilled Wallace Hall Academy team. The competitiveness of every single game made it an intense and enjoyable day for spectators and players alike.
Awards for individual performance were received by Aiden K S6 and Aiden I S4.
