S1 pupil Gregor travelled up to Inveralmond High School on Sunday 10th March, after being selected to represent Dumfries and Galloway schools pipe band at the Scottish schools piping band championships. Dumfries and Galloway Schools Pipe band won the Junior B section.
They were in a section with 19 other pipe bands and had 4 judges watching their performance. They gained 2 x 1sts in piping, a 2nd in drumming and 2nd in ensemble.
Congratulations to piping instructor Callum Moffat who worked very hard with the band alongside Alan Maltman, David Sheridan and Euan Grierson.
