THREE pupils at Dumfries High School were celebrating this week after returning home successfully in the regional schools orienteering competition.
Connor who is in S1 and Alice and Kerry, both S5, took part in the event organised by Solway Orienteers at the Cream O’Galloway Farm.
Kerry was fifth overall in the green group with a time of 94:40 and Alice was sixth in 96:39.
Connor came 21st in his very large group in an impressive time of 34:14, almost half an hour ahead of the others.
Congratulations to all three for taking part and doing so well.
