We are a busy, family run business looking to employ an enthusiastic apprentice mechanic.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
We are looking to employ a school leaver who would be interested in a Modern apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenace and Repair. A probationary period will be in place for this position.
Applicants would require Nat 4 in Maths and English and a basic understanding of computers.
Training would be given onsite, and also in college. There is also the opportunity to progress and become an MOT tester after the qualification has been gained.
Attributes that we look for in the the roll are not only academic. We will look at the applicant to have an interest and enthusiasm for the job. Show problem solving skills, be able to work as a team, but also be able to work on their own.
Pay will be discussed with the applicant, this will be an apprenticeship wage, and will be adjusted accordingly as training progresses.
